Terms of Use

Effective Date: October 3, 2026.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the website operated by Love Beyond Belief, Inc. (“LBB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including its public pages, educational resources, downloads, inquiry forms, and online features (collectively, the “Website”).

Please read these terms before using the Website. By using the Website, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. Where a particular activity requires affirmative acceptance of additional terms, browsing the Website does not substitute for that acceptance.

These terms apply to Website use. They do not, by themselves, enroll you in a program, authorize you to facilitate an LBB group, establish a partnership, or create an employment, agency, or professional-service relationship.

2. Related policies and separate agreements

Our Privacy Policy explains the handling of personal information, cookies, and related privacy choices. Acceptance of these terms is not consent to optional marketing, nonessential cookies, research participation, recording, or publication of personal material.

Programs, events, screenings, facilitation arrangements, partnerships, and other activities may be subject to separate agreements, Program Participation Terms, Community Guidelines, eligibility requirements, permissions, or notices. Those conditions will apply when presented and accepted as required for the activity.

If a separate agreement conflicts with these terms, the separate agreement governs the specific activity to the extent of the conflict. Nothing in these terms overrides rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

3. Educational purpose and professional boundaries

The Website provides educational and informational material concerning spiritual practice, emotional awareness, relationships, community life, and democratic participation. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or crisis-care advice, and it does not provide diagnosis or treatment.

Reading content, watching a video, downloading a resource, or submitting an inquiry does not create a therapist-client, attorney-client, clergy-parishioner, or other professional relationship. Any professional relationship requires its own applicable arrangements and cannot be inferred from Website use alone.

Some material addresses difficult experiences, conflict, exclusion, fear, grief, or other emotionally demanding subjects. You may pause or stop engaging with it and seek appropriate support. No particular personal, emotional, spiritual, clinical, or civic outcome is guaranteed.

The Website and its forms are not emergency channels. If you face immediate danger or need urgent medical or mental-health assistance, contact appropriate local emergency or crisis services rather than waiting for a response from LBB.

4. Program information and expressions of interest

Program descriptions explain the purpose and status of the work; they are not guarantees of availability, admission, dates, fees, format, or results. Proposed pilots and developing initiatives remain subject to the approvals and arrangements described for them. An established program may still have limited or changing availability.

Submitting an interest form or inquiry begins a conversation. It does not confirm a place, registration, screening permission, speaking engagement, facilitation booking, host arrangement, partnership, or other commitment. LBB will provide relevant details and next steps when an opportunity or arrangement is available.

You are not authorized to represent yourself as an LBB facilitator, partner, representative, or approved host solely because you have accessed materials or submitted a form. Any such authorization must be separately granted by LBB.

5. Eligibility and acting for others

You may use the Website only in accordance with applicable law. If an activity requires legal capacity to enter an agreement, you must have that capacity or obtain the authorization required by law.

A program or event may have its own age, eligibility, consent, or safeguarding requirements. Access to the Website does not establish eligibility for participation. Requests concerning a child should be made by an appropriately authorized adult, using only the information necessary for the initial inquiry.

If you submit information or make a request on behalf of another person or organization, you must have authority to do so. Do not represent that another person has consented, or that an organization has made a commitment, without authorization.

6. Intellectual property and ownership

Website materials may include text, photographs, graphics, logos, trademarks, recordings, videos, curriculum, workbooks, and downloadable resources. Except where otherwise identified, rights in those materials belong to LBB or the respective authors, creators, licensors, or other rights holders.

Making material publicly accessible does not place it in the public domain or transfer ownership. References to Rev. Dr. Thandeka’s scholarship or to another creator’s work do not mean that LBB owns all rights in that work.

Names, logos, and marks may not be used to imply endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or authorization without the relevant rights holder’s permission. All rights not expressly granted remain with their respective owners.

7. Permitted use of resources

Subject to these terms and any resource-specific conditions, you may browse the Website, view material made available for public viewing, and download or print material expressly offered for download for your own personal, noncommercial learning. Keep copyright notices, attribution, and other rights information intact.

A resource carrying an express license, reuse statement, or separate permission may be used according to those conditions. Any permission granted by LBB covers only rights LBB is authorized to grant; third-party material may require separate permission.

Unless a resource’s stated license or applicable law permits otherwise, you may not:

  • Republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Website materials
  • Adapt curriculum, workbooks, recordings, or other materials for public delivery or distribution
  • Use materials to conduct or advertise an LBB-branded program or facilitator training
  • Reproduce or publicly screen video or audio merely because it can be viewed on the Website
  • Remove attribution, rights notices, or restrictions, or present another person’s work as your own

A link or download is not, by itself, a license for group screening, public performance, redistribution, or facilitated program delivery. Ask LBB about the permissions applicable to the intended use.

Nothing in these terms restricts fair use, fair dealing, or another right or exception provided by applicable law. When quoting within a permitted use, identify the author and source accurately and avoid implying endorsement.

8. Linking to the Website

You may share a link to a publicly accessible page if the link is accurate, lawful, and does not imply an affiliation or endorsement that does not exist.

Do not disguise the source, frame Website material in a way that misrepresents ownership, bypass access restrictions, or use LBB’s marks to suggest that an independent website or service is operated or approved by LBB. Links may stop working when content is updated, moved, or withdrawn.

9. Information and materials you submit

Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and reasonably relevant to your inquiry. Do not submit content you lack the right to share, including another person’s private story, image, or sensitive information without appropriate authorization.

You retain any ownership rights you have in material you submit. By submitting it, you permit LBB to receive, store, review, and share it with authorized personnel and relevant service providers to the extent reasonably necessary to respond, administer the requested relationship, and comply with applicable obligations, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

This limited permission does not authorize LBB to publish your story, image, testimonial, or creative work, or to use it in research. Any such use requires the separate permissions and procedures applicable to it. These terms do not require you to transfer ownership of a submission.

General forms are not intended for confidential participant disclosures, detailed medical records, passwords, payment-card data, or bank-account credentials. Contact LBB first if sensitive information is necessary so that an appropriate communication method can be identified. Do not assume that an unsolicited submission will be legally privileged or absolutely confidential.

10. Acceptable use

Use the Website in a way that respects other people’s rights and does not threaten its operation or security. You may not:

  • Violate applicable law or infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights
  • Threaten, harass, impersonate, defraud, or unlawfully discriminate against another person
  • Submit malicious, deceptive, unlawful, or unauthorized material
  • Distribute malware, introduce harmful code, or attempt unauthorized access
  • Interfere with forms, servers, networks, security controls, or another visitor’s use
  • Bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, or obtain restricted information
  • Use automated tools to overwhelm the Website, harvest personal information, or access restricted materials
  • Misuse contact details or forms for unsolicited promotions, spam, or unrelated solicitation
  • Misrepresent affiliation with LBB or falsely claim approval of a program, service, or product

These restrictions are not intended to prohibit lawful criticism, good-faith reporting, or uses protected by applicable law.

11. External websites, services, and embedded content

The Website may link to independent websites or use externally provided features, including video, publication, or communications services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement. LBB does not control an independent service’s content, availability, security, or practices and cannot guarantee its performance. Review the relevant terms before submitting information, enabling a feature, or entering an agreement with an external provider.

Some external features may transmit technical information when loaded or used. The Privacy Policy explains relevant considerations. These terms do not replace any consent required for nonessential technologies or external features.

12. Support inquiries, payments, and donations

The Website’s support inquiry pathway does not collect a donation or process a payment. An inquiry does not create a gift agreement, charge, recurring-gift authorization, or entitlement to a tax deduction. Do not submit financial credentials through inquiry forms.

If LBB later offers online payments, donations, or paid registration, the applicable amount, currency, processor information, cancellation or refund conditions, and any recurring-payment terms must be disclosed before the transaction. Any required authorization must be obtained separately; Website use alone does not authorize a charge.

Tax treatment depends on the gift, any benefits received, your circumstances, and applicable law. Website statements do not constitute individual tax advice. Request relevant acknowledgment information from LBB and consult a qualified adviser when needed.

Nothing in these terms establishes a blanket no-refund policy, promises a refund, or limits mandatory rights under applicable law. Transaction-specific conditions and applicable law govern an actual transaction.

13. Availability, accuracy, and changes to content

We aim to provide useful information, but content may contain errors, become outdated, or require revision. Resources and features may be updated, moved, suspended, or discontinued. The Website may be unavailable because of maintenance, technical failures, external services, or other circumstances.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, or that every error will be identified immediately. If you notice an error or a broken feature, please notify us through the Contact page.

Changing a Website description does not, by itself, change a separately agreed booking, payment arrangement, permission, or participation agreement. Any change to such an arrangement must follow its applicable terms and legal requirements.

14. Disclaimers and limits of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and its general informational materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or a particular outcome. You are responsible for deciding whether a resource is suitable for your intended use and for obtaining professional advice when appropriate.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, LBB is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from Website use or inability to access it, such as lost profits, lost opportunities, or loss of data.

These provisions do not exclude or restrict liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or restricted. They do not remove mandatory consumer protections or other nonwaivable rights. Where a limitation is not permitted, it applies only to the extent lawful.

These Website provisions do not replace the responsibilities or remedies stated in a separate agreement for a particular service or activity.

15. Restricting misuse and reporting concerns

Where reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity, misuse, or a threat to rights, safety, or Website security, LBB may restrict access to a feature, refuse an abusive submission, or take other appropriate protective action, subject to applicable law. Restrictions on Website access do not automatically cancel a separate agreement or eliminate rights under it.

To report suspected misuse or a rights concern, contact LBB through the Contact page. Describe the relevant page or material, the concern, and a way to reach you. If reporting an intellectual-property concern, identify the work, your ownership or authority, the allegedly infringing material, and its location.

Do not include another person’s sensitive information unnecessarily. This general contact procedure is not a substitute for any formal legal notice procedure required by applicable law and does not promise a particular response time.

16. Accessibility

LBB seeks to make its Website understandable and usable. The Accessibility Statement provides further information about accessibility and reporting barriers.

If a feature or resource prevents you from accessing information or submitting a request, contact LBB and describe the barrier and the information or assistance you need. These terms do not waive accessibility rights or excuse obligations imposed by applicable law.

17. Changes to these terms

LBB may revise these terms to reflect changes in Website functions, organizational practices, or legal requirements. The published version’s effective date identifies when that version takes effect. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate Website notice or another suitable method where required by law.

Revised terms apply prospectively from their stated effective date, subject to applicable law and any required notice or acceptance. They do not retroactively authorize a disclosure, payment, recording, or other action that required separate permission, or change a separate agreement without following its requirements.

If you do not agree to revised terms, discontinue Website use. Additional consent will be obtained where legally required; simply updating this page does not replace that consent.

18. Applicable law, disputes, and general provisions

These terms are subject to applicable law, including mandatory protections available in your jurisdiction. They do not designate an exclusive court or require arbitration. If a dispute arises, you may contact LBB to seek a practical resolution, but doing so is not a condition that prevents you from exercising a legal right or remedy.

If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or separated to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply where lawful. A failure or delay in enforcing a provision does not, by itself, waive the right to enforce it later.

These terms address Website use together with any additional terms applicable to a particular feature. They do not supersede a separately executed agreement or create rights for an unrelated third party.

19. Contact
